Join us for a Whiskey, Wine, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) presentation.

Health Information Exchange (HIE)
In March 2022, the State of Oklahoma passed SB1369 and the subsequent rules, requiring all health care providers to report data to and utilize the State Designated Entity (SDE) for Health Information Exchange beginning July 1, 2023.

All health care providers shall:

  • Establish a direct, secure connection to the state-designated entity for HIE and submit data in the form and format as defined on the Office of the State Coordinator for HIE website.
  • Actively use the HIE services to securely access records during and/or in support of patient treatment or healthcare operations.

Steve Miller, State Coordinator for Health Information Exchange, will join us in person for a presentation on the HIE requirements along with Q&A.
